For this task, we focused on completing the final game experience and refining the overall design. To enhance the gameplay, I began by adding additional levels to the map, ensuring a smoother progression and a more engaging experience for players. I also worked on making the background more immersive, adding details and visual elements that enrich the game world and draw players into the environment.

I focused on redesigning all the platforms and levels to enhance the gameplay experience. This redesign aimed to improve the flow and challenge of each level, creating a more cohesive and enjoyable journey for players. Additionally, I added content to provide users with a better understanding of the game’s story and objectives, helping to create a stronger connection to the game.

In this stage of development, I worked on enhancing the game’s visual appeal by adding new elements to the background. These included flowers, grass, stones, and clouds, all of which were designed to create a more immersive and visually engaging environment. The goal was to make the game world feel more alive and inviting for players as they navigate through the levels.

I added a sidekick character that follows the player throughout the game. Since the game is designed for single-player mode, the idea was to introduce a companion to reduce the feeling of loneliness. The sidekick functions as a pet, staying close to the player and enhancing the overall experience with a sense of companionship. This addition adds both emotional depth and visual interest to the gameplay.

Here is the art asset:

To make sure the game will went smoothly, the pet will also running back and forward with the player, while player standing, the cat will also waiting. To enhance user interaction, I updated the player’s behavior at the start of the game. Instead of simply standing still, the player character now salutes and smiles when the user enters. This small gesture adds a welcoming touch, making the experience feel more engaging and personable from the very beginning.

Next, to add more depth and complexity to the levels, I introduced an underground section. This addition expands the gameplay environment, providing players with new areas to explore and challenges to overcome, further enriching the overall experience.

I added a Menu Scene to enhance the game’s structure and navigation. To make it more engaging, I incorporated a sound system for both the main scene and the menu scene, creating a more immersive and interactive experience for players.
